Dreamhost uptime for JUNE 2008: 98.185% over the Internet
For the month of June 2008, dreamhost uptime was a bit poor, and recorded at only 98.1% over the Internet. With over 23 service downtime/outage, and 155 failed checks. Average server response time at 0.256 second.
Major service downtime occur at 1st June, 13th June. And thus caused the uptime rating to fall below 99.9%

In the late few months, there were no special discount or promotion from dreamhost web hosting. And there were no promotion for mother day, summer holiday, father day, or 4th july sales. Dreamhost hosting is not organising special promotion period for that. While most other web hosting companies are throwing sales and promotion for the events. So, its all original & regular price at dreamhost.
Dreamhost hosting uptime for the late few months are falling terrible. I am getting about 99.6% for the May 2008 dreamhost uptime. I am expecting for something near to 99.9%, even if they cant deliver it. Definately not 99.6% level.

Once again, the dreamhost uptime had fallen again, and recorded as 96.583% over the Internet. The average server response time is 0.231 second. There were 90 service downtime/outages, with 302 failed checks.

For the month of april, the dreamhost uptime had fallen to 96%+.. with 0.25 second average server response time. Most of the service downtime occur at early of the month.

Dreamhostreview.org is dreamhost review and dreamhost coupon site, hosted with dreamhost hosting since months ago and using their one and only shared hosting plan. I signup with dreamhost hosting, with the purpose to review dreamhost hosting and find out the real fact about this hosting provider.
Over this 11 months of dreamhost review, i did learnt a great deal about dreamhost hosting. Fact is that, this dreamhost review site affiliate account had been TERMINATED! Same thing happend to other affiliate users too. Just now sure what had caused this account termination thing to happened. I hope for a response from dreamhost affiliate program.
For dreamhost hosting, i notice that dreamhost addon domain is not a free process. I had seen the fee notice, and this means adding domain name will incur extra charges. Before this i having two websites, one primary and another is addon domain. Later i removed the addon domain and move the site to my other hosting account that offering free addon domain.

Since last month, this great dreamhost review site had lost its affiliate account with dreamhost hosting. Its a sad thing happening. That means, i will not receiving credits for refering friends or user to dreamhost hosting.
Well, this doesn’t stop me from reviewing dreamhost hosting. As every user, either they are newbies or expert user, they have the right to know about a hosting company. Hosting review helps them to ensure the hosting company is really that good!
Almost 2 years reviewing web hosting companies, i found out that about 20%+ of the web hosting services are good on paper only. And their actual hosting services suck. Thats the main reason that drive me to running full fleet of web hosting review blogs.
Last month contacted the dreamhost affiliate, still no reply. And i not sure what caused the account termination. I visited some other dreamhost review sites, and they being suspended permanently too! Just no idea whats going ON! At least tell us whats wrong.

And for the one week time, the dreamhost uptime recorded is 99.5% uptime Only. Not a good server uptime. Althought this uptime is over the internet, which is monitored from various remote location.
