When you are new to dreamhost, or when you need to ask for some flavor from existing dreamhost customer/user, searching and getting helps from forums will be the quickest. I would suggest you use the dreamhost forum, the only official dreamhost forum at http://discussion.dreamhost.com/
A quick go through the official dreamhost forum, found out that their community is very huge. And you can ask almost everything that you like to find out about dreamhost. Which is not limited to scripts support, web design help, ecommerce, programming, multimedia including graphic video and audio, troubleshooting and even dreamhost promotion updates are discussed here.
Note that this is dreamhost customer-to-customer support. If you look forward for support from staff, its best to send them a support ticket, and your problem can be resolved.
